New Hope Elementary will hold a kindergarten parent meeting on Sunday, August 9, at 4:00 p.m. Parents are encouraged to attend to learn important information and prepare for the upcoming school year.
We are excited to welcome our students and families to Open House on Sunday, August 9! Families with students whose last names begin with A-K are invited to attend from 2-3 p.m., and families with students whose last names begin with L-Z are invited to attend from 3-4 p.m. All kindergarten families are invited to attend from 4-5 p.m. We look forward to seeing you and helping you get ready for a great school year!
Parents, if your child is starting kindergarten this fall, now is the time to register for kindergarten screening. Choose the date and time that works best for your family here.
We are pleased to welcome new students to Gaston County Schools. To begin the enrollment process, please download our student assignment application.
Please complete this form for each student attending New Hope Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The form collects information about how your child will arrive at and leave school each day. It also includes the option to sign up for school bus transportation.
The school supply list for the 2026–2027 school year is now available. Families can view the list by grade level.
Kindergarten enrollment for the 2026-27 school year is open. Families can complete the application by visiting the registration page.
The Board of Education will meet on Monday, August 17, at 5:30 p.m. at the Gaston County Schools Central Office, 943 Osceola Street, Gastonia. The public is invited to attend. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can watch it live on YouTube, the Gaston County Schools website, or Spectrum Channel 21.
